In 1986, Alan Hardin founded the Combined Group. Within two years he had introduced Nonsubscription to Texas Employers, a groundbreaking new insurance product that came to be known as Comprehensive Employers Indemnity. His first two clients were Tom Thumb and Dr. Pepper.

After 20 years, Mr. Hardin sold his Company to Brown and Brown, and subsequently formed CPro Associates to introduce an entirely new generation of Occupational Injury products providing both “No Dollar Limit” Medical as well as benefits that apply separately for each Employee rather than the CSL product he introduced 30 years ago.

In 2015, CPro joined forces with Texas Healthcare Foundation (THF) to provide the Next generation of claims services as groundbreaking as the “No Dollar Limit Medical” Policy enhancement.
